Unlike others instead of going on classy trips.. I always wish to explore hidden treasures .. offbeat .. cultural...traditional.. unexplored destinations. So , when it comes to India I feel like .. I am yet to visit most of destinations..! 

Unexplored Regions of India

This exploration journey started .. when me and brother did Himalayan Basecamp Trek Sandakphu by YHAI  in year 2016. It was as an incredible experience...! 



Here are my Top 10 Unexplored regions of India 


1.Gandikota , Andhra Pradesh 


In twelfth Century A.D Gandikota Fort was built by Kaka Raja, Vassals of Kalyani Chalukya rulers. It has shrouded excellent grand canyon , which has amazing perspective. Gandikota town is on stream penna. You can have a night camp either on stream side or outside the fort.
 

2.Majuli, Assam 


Majuli is a worlds largest river island. It is cultural capital of Assam. Simple leaving, simple eating and preserving natural heritage is motto of Majuli's villagers. You can visit Garmur , Kamalabari Satra, Dakshinapat Satra, Tangapania, Benegenatti to know more about culture of Majuli and do not forget to try some river activities. 


3.Nighoj, Maharashtra 


One of mysterious places.. it is in 
Ahmednagar .. western ghats of Maharashtra. It is famous for naturally created potholes on the Kukadi river. It still has unsolved mystery behind this natural creation.. people from around the world visit Nighoj to get know this unique formation. 


4.Bhimbetka, Madhya Pradesh

 

Bhimbetka is a gigantic archeological fortune, that increases in antiquated compositions. In excess of 600 stone caves,  late found in the rough landscape of the Vindhyan range. The artworks of the tribal shows that a similar caves were utilized by the various individuals in various decades of history.


5. Sandakphu, West Bengal 


This is one of my favorite till date. I did with YHAI .. which was cheapest and fun exploring. Scenetic  view...wildlife trail... mountains... freezing climate.. meeting new people.. greatest experience ever. 


6. Kanatal , Uttarakhand 




In winter this looks like fairytale Snow forest and also it is one of unexplored hill station. Deep valley crossing, rappelling, camping , Kodai Wildlife Safari. Hill view cottages are perfect for long isolation at least once in life time.

7. Tent City, Rann , Gujarat 


Biggest white desert .. salt marsh of in Gujarat. Rann of Kutch 
Rann Utsav held every year in November to February . This year based on Covid conditions it may vary. Pre-confirm before booking.   


8. Chaddar Trek , Ladakh 


Walking along or on frozen Zanskar river .. freezing .. minus degree climate.. 105 km distance...most difficult trek. It was in news that soon global warming will hit this place climatic condition and it may even vanish. Before visiting this place you should be prepared for all uncertain medical & climatic conditions.

9. Dawki , Guwahati 


One of the cleanest river in India. It's a small village .. 80km from Shilong. 
If you are visiting Meghalaya .. Dawki must be on your list. March - April...spring season would be best time to visit this place.


10. Sundarban National Park 


Sundarban UNESCO World Heritage Center. It is known for white tigers and 1000 plus fowl species. 

The world biggest forestland changes into a low-lying mangrove swamp moving toward the coast, the huge mangrove trees that are generally abundant in the territory. Which itself comprises of sand rises and mud pads.

    1. Simply visit particular state tourism sites .. you will get latest covid updates. Also, most places are open but with safety conditions..! Happy Stay.!
